Renowned for her poise, eloquence, and unwavering commitment to socio-environmental causes, Rinimarawa has transitioned from a celebrated national titleholder into an influential mentor, executive producer, and international judge. Education: 


Born and raised in Kiribati, Atiterentaai Rinimarawa developed a deep reverence for her Pacific heritage and community resilience from an early age. She is a graduate of the University of the South Pacific holding a Bachelor of Arts in Social Work and Tourism Management. 

Early Life and Entry into Pageantry


Her journey into pageantry began not merely as a pursuit of aesthetic recognition, but as a strategic endeavor to elevate the visibility of small island developing states. She first captured national attention upon winning local platform titles, where her commanding stage presence and articulate discourse on environmental vulnerability set her apart from her peers. Pageantry and Achievements

Miss Pacific Islands Pageant 2026: She represented Kiribati at the 37th Miss Pacific Islands Pageant held in Nadi, Fiji, in February 2026, where she was awarded Miss Personality


Platform: Her presentation and research focused on sports development as a transformative tool for tackling regional challenges like non-communicable diseases and youth disconnection. 


Advocacy and Interests


Climate Change: Growing up on a low-lying Pacific atoll, she actively advocates for climate crisis awareness, addressing real-time threats like rising sea levels and coastal erosion.

She enjoys traditional weaving, singing, and dancing to stay rooted in her I-Kiribati heritage.
